Megatrust offers business loans of up to $10,000 for a maximum of 2 years. This loan bears a constant interest rate of 1.5% per month, translating to an annual percentage rate (APR) of 18%.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in business under existing ownership
- The business must be registered and situated in any African country
- The business must be banked and have secured track records of revenue

Equity Funds
Megatrust offers equity investments to Africa’s businesses, companies, and industries that are open to expanding and scaling their operations. When Megatrust invests in a business/ company with an equity fund, we purchase ownership stakes in them, entitling them to a portion of their profits and voting rights at shareholder meetings.
Key points about equity investments include:
- Megatrust becomes a partial owner of the company and has a claim on its assets and earnings proportionate to the percentage equivalent to the total contribution to the company.
- Megatrust expects to earn returns through capital appreciation and dividends.
- Megatrust will have voting rights that allow it to participate in corporate governance matters, such as electing the board of directors and voting on major company decisions.

- The business must be banked and have secured track records of revenue
